Gordon has more than 10 years experience in strategic marketing with a strong background in planning, analysis and marketing metrics, brand management, customer behaviour, product development and technology; to social and digital media such as websites, mobile, eCommerce, social networking, content and database marketing, conversion and search engine optimisation, and traditional advertising.

He is passionate about the benefits of digitalising business and communities, innovation and disrupting industries. He is a founding member and Society President of the Lunaticks Society of Newcastle, a group of prominent digital and social media enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, academics, creatives, app and web developers, film makers, investors and others that encourage creative thinking and new ideas in a digital age.

Gordon is a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute (FAMI), Certified Practicing Marketer (CPM) and has earned a Masters of Marketing degree from the University of Newcastle.
